Working with his wife and savvy business associate, Charlotte, he represents clients around the globe and is well-versed in the communication technologies used in today’s digital world.
Barrie and Charlotte have lived in San Francisco for 23 years, having moved to the West Coast from Illinois in 1990. Both are deeply involved in philanthropic work and share a passion for music.
Barrie has served as President of the Board of the Oakland’s Pacific Boychoir Academy, and has donated his time and legal services to the California Historical Radio Society as well as his alma mater, Illinois’ Shimer College. He also sang professionally in San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral Men and Boys Choir for 12 years. Currently, Barrie is studying Baroque violin and performs in two amateur groups, the Bay Area Baroque Orchestra and Berkeley Baroque Strings.
Charlotte has also served on numerous boards, most recently the Cathedral School for Boys, Grace Cathedral, and the Professional Women’s Network. She is currently a Board Member and the Donor Cultivation Committee Chair of
Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, and has served as its Gala Chair for the past two years. Charlotte sang in the San Francisco Symphony Chorus for four years, and now studies harpsichord and performs with Barrie in the amateur orchestra, Berkeley Baroque Strings.
